Thank you for joining the world's largest online and offline learning marketplace. We believe our marketplace model provides valuable educational content for our users. To ensure a safe experience for everyone, These Terms apply to all activities on our official platform across all existing and future branches of BIT worldwide.

Website Usage Guidelines


1. Respectful Content: Do not publish or share any defamatory, offensive, or unlawful material.

2. Intellectual Property: Avoid uploading or distributing files protected by Intellectual Property Laws.

3. Technical Integrity: Do not edit HTML source code, reverse engineer, or attempt hacking.

4. Spam Prohibition: Do not run spam services or scripts that could disrupt the platform.

5. No Advertising: Avoid spamming or selling services like digital downloads or phishing links.

6. Originality: Do not copy, distribute, or engage in plagiarism of any content.

7. Hate and Violence: Do not link to pages supporting racism or terrorism.

8. Prohibited Content: Avoid linking to pages with pornographic content or violating human/animal rights.


Account Guidelines for Students

When you enrol in a course, you will receive access to an official student portal to view your class and study materials.

1. Account Security: Your user ID and password are for your exclusive use. You are responsible for all activities on your account and any harm caused by unauthorized use.

2. Password Safety: Keep your password secure and do not share it. Do not transfer your account or use someone else's account. If you suspect unauthorized use, contact our support team at support@bitbaroda.com.

3. Account Deactivation: Your student portal account will be deactivated within 10 days after successfully completing your course.

 

Course Transfer & Validity

1. Course Enrolment: Once a student enrols in a specific course, they have a 15-day window to modify or change their course selection if needed.

2. Transfer Eligibility: After successfully completing 15 days of course content (presumably after the initial enrolment and learning period), students will not be eligible to change or transfer to a different course.

3. Course Expertise Matching: Each course likely requires specific expertise and knowledge from instructors or trainers. When a student enrols in multiple courses, BIT management would typically assign different trainers based on their expertise in each course's subject matter.

4. Short-term Course Validity:

  • The short-term courses designed to be completed within a period ranging from 0 to 6 months.

  • The validity period for short-term courses is typically 1 (one) year from the date of enrolment. This means that students enrolled in these courses have access to course materials, resources, training and support for one year from the date of enrolment.
  • Upon completion of the course's validity period, the student’s enrolment status will be considered cancelled.
  • If a student wishes to continue their course or access the materials after the validity period has ended, they must undergo a fresh admission process at BIT.

5. Long-term Course Validity:

  • The long-term courses designed to be completed within a period ranging from 06 to 24 months.
  • For long-term courses, the validity period extends to 2 (Two) years from the date of enrolment. This allows students a longer timeframe to complete the course requirements, access learning materials, Training and possibly receive ongoing support or updates related to the course content.
  • Upon completion of the course's validity period, the student’s enrolment status will be considered cancelled.
  • If a student wishes to continue their course or access the materials after the validity period has ended, they must undergo a fresh admission process at BIT.

6. Re-Joining the Course: If a student completes the course within the validity period but wishes to access the materials again or re-enrol for any reason, they must submit an application along with re-joining fees Rs. 1000/- to the BIT Management.


Course Content Guidelines

1. Content Modifications: BIT reserves the right to modify study material arrangements as needed based on job market requirements. However, course content will remain unchanged for enrolled students.

2. References and Responsibility: References provided in the study material are for examples and practice. BIT is not responsible for your practice of these references.

3. Software Access: BIT does not provide licensed versions of software. For courses requiring software, an Educational Software Link will be provided.

4. Interaction and Submission: Students can ask instructors questions and post course reviews. Do not submit anything that is not your own work related to training.

5. Access to Materials: Students will have access to various formats of content related to their registered certification course. It’s your responsibility to track daily learning progress.

6. Educational Purpose: Course content is intended for education and guidance only. Study materials are for reference and may change without notice.

7.     Prohibition on Sharing: Sharing BIT training materials or e-learning credentials is strictly prohibited and may lead to permanent account deactivation and course unenrollment.


Attendance Terms

1. Minimum Attendance Requirement: Students must maintain a minimum of 80% attendance throughout the course to be eligible for both the examination and the certificate.

2. Eligibility for Examination and Certification: Students who do not meet the 80% attendance requirement may not be allowed to sit for the final examination.


Examination and Project Terms for Students

1. Feedback Requirement: To be eligible for examination and certification, you must submit a feedback form. BIT will not schedule your examination without feedback submission.
2. Examination Scheduling:  After course completion, management will review your feedback, and instructors will inform you of the examination date. You must attend the examination or submit your project on the scheduled date. Failure to do so will result in a "Fail," and BIT will not be responsible for your examination or certification.
3. Project Submission: You must submit your project within 10 to 30 days from the assignment date. Failure to submit on time will result in course cancellation and ineligibility for certification.
4. Re Examination and Project Submission:
1. Eligibility:
  • Re-Examination: Only students with valid reasons for missing the original examination are eligible to apply for a re-examination.
  • Project Submission: Students who missed the project submission before the due date are also eligible to apply for re-submission or a re-examination, depending on their circumstances.
2. Fees:
  • Re-Examination Fee: A fee of Rs. 250 is required for re-examination. This fee must be paid in advance to the BIT Admin department to qualify for the re- examination.
  • Project Submission Fee: If applicable, a similar fee structure may apply for late project submissions. Please consult the BIT Admin department for details on any additional fees or procedures.
5. Certification Delivery:
  • Online Students: E-Certificate will be emailed within 10 working days after the examination.
  • Offline Students: Hard copy certificate will be provided within 30 working days after the examination.


Leave Terms for Students

1. Leave Application: If you wish to take more than 3 days of leave in a month, you must send a leave application to leave@bitbaroda.com to be eligible to resume lectures.

2. Uninformed Leave: If you take leave without notifying BIT, the institute is not responsible for any topics taught during your absence. Uninformed leave exceeding one week may result in the cancellation of your admission.

3. Drop of Admission: Continued absence without proper communication with Trainer or Admin department may result in the cancellation of the student’s admission. Once admission has been cancelled due to continued absence, the student will need to undergo a fresh admission process to re-enrol in the course.


Testimonial Guidelines

1. If you purchase a course from BIT, we may request a testimonial. With your authorization, we will display your testimonial, photos, and videos on our website and social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, YouTube). Please be aware that your publicly identifiable information may be used for promotional messages, and BIT is not responsible for personal information you choose to display.

2. If you do not want your pictures or testimonials featured, please email us at support@bitbaroda.com.


Placement Support

BIT assist in job placement but do not guarantee student’s job placement, it typically means we provide support and resources to help students find employment, but ultimately, securing a job depends on various factors, including the student's qualifications, skills, and the current job market conditions.

1. Job Placement Assistance: BIT may offer services such as career counselling, resume and cover letter assistance, interview preparation workshops, and access to job postings and networking opportunities with potential employers.

2. Educational Preparation: Ensuring that students receive a quality education that aligns with industry standards and expectations, enhancing their readiness for the job market.

Instructor Terms

As faculty members of BIT (Baroda Institute of Technology), you are responsible for maintaining the institution's standards. You must comply with all relevant policies, rules, regulations, and norms that guide your work.

These guidelines apply to all full-time faculty (Offline), visiting faculty (Offline & Online), and part-time/contract faculty (Offline & Online).


Teaching and Learning Responsibilities

Faculty members at BIT are responsible for:

1. Course Instruction: Teaching both core and advanced courses in their specialization as assigned by the Admission department.
2. Lab and Tutorials: Conducting lab practical’s and tutorials effectively to enhance students' practical knowledge.
3. Project Guidance: Providing supervision for student project work, including proper reporting for industry-related projects.
4. Engaging Teaching Methods: Utilizing multimedia methods to make lessons more engaging and interesting.
5. Preparedness: Arriving well-prepared with theoretical and practical examples, and using visuals to aid understanding. Encouraging student participation during discussions.
6. Lecture Scheduling: Preparing a detailed schedule of lectures, topics, tests, assignments, and presentations.
7. Assessment Creation: Setting standard question papers for assignments and tests to evaluate student knowledge and analytical skills.
8. Classroom Punctuality: Enforcing punctuality by not permitting late arrivals to class.
9. Maintaining Discipline: Intervening when observing inappropriate student behaviour.
10. Comprehensive Coverage: Ensuring that all topics are discussed in class and not omitted.


Maintenance of Records

1. Record Keeping: Each faculty member must maintain accurate records of class work, attendance, and continuous assessment in a timely and organized manner.
2. Student Information: Faculty must keep a list of students, including their contact numbers and email addresses, to monitor progress and facilitate communication.
3. Monitoring Progress: Faculty are responsible for tracking attendance and academic performance of students in their courses. If improvements are needed and efforts fail, faculty should inform the admission department to notify parents or guardians.


Termination of Account Access

Instructors must provide one (1) month written notice to hrm@bitbaroda.com before terminating their agreement and must complete any ongoing courses for enrolled students.

BIT reserves the right to suspend payments and/or ban instructors at any time, without prior notice, for reasons including but not limited to:

Non-compliance with our policies or legal terms (including the Terms of Use).
Courses failing to meet quality standards or negatively impacting the student experience.
Instructors engaging in behaviour that could harm BIT’s reputation.
Hiring marketers or partners who violate BIT’s policies.
Any other reason deemed appropriate by BIT at its sole discretion.

Dispute Resolution

For all disputes and legal matters, the jurisdiction will be Vadodara, Gujarat, India only.
